Last-mile delivery and parcel stations are an integral part of the mobility hubs where services for both passengers and goods co-locate. Thus, the relevance and added-value of logistics events are greatly appreciated!
In this frame, in September and October 2024, our project partner ALOT srl presented the GREENMO project along with its initial results, at two important events focused on mobility and logistics in Italy:
General Logistics Summit of North-West Italy
On September 25th, the General Logistics Summit held in Milan, brought together industry leaders to discuss innovations in logistics and mobility. GREENMO’s representation highlighted the project activities, emphasizing the role of urban logistics at the concept of mobility hubs in advancing the whole urban ecosystem.
International EXPO of GREEN LOGISTIC
From October 9th to 11th, GREENMO first results and scope were showcased at the International EXPO of GREEN LOGISTIC in Padova. This international event provided an excellent opportunity to delve deeper into the project and engage with key stakeholders in the sector. Consequently, during both events,
As an expert in sustainable mobility solutions, ALOT srl was invited to share an overview of the most promising initiatives, projects, outlook and future trends shaping the field. During both events, GREENMO and its first deliverable on the typology and characteristics of mobility hubs were presented during working tables, general seminar and B2B sessions. This dissemination approach aims to streamline transportation and promote eco-friendly practices across logistics and mobility sectors.
Results achieved?
- More than 50 stakeholders were informed among which were mobility experts, research centers, mobility clusters, delivery and logistic providers, shared mobility operators, last-mile service providers and representatives managing mobility infrastructure.
- More than 5 SMEs and Start-ups were contacted to discuss their current innovative sharing mobility solutions and alternative fuels for last-mile delivery vehicles, investigating the project’s impact on fostering new ideas.
- Working tables were held with representatives of all Northern Italy Regions, including Lombardy, Piedmont, Liguria, Veneto, Friuli- Venezia Giulia, Trentino, facilitating regional collaboration.
- 1 exhibition stand featuring 10 key stakeholders, among which mobility and logistic experts, service providers, research institutions, certification authority and public authorities’ representatives.
