Save the date for GREENMO Final Conference & Capacity Building Seminar

On Thursday, 2nd of October 2025, GREENMO project is hosting two independent events that are going to take place back-to-back in a full day dedicated to the future of sustainable mobility and mobility hubs in Med areas. The day in Mantua, Italy, includes:

 

  1. the Final Conference
  2. the Interregional Seminar for Capacity Building.

Part I – GREENMO Final Conference

Time: 09:00-13:00

A half-day open-to-all event to present the results and outlook of the GREENMO project.

Objective

The GREENMO Final Conference aims to showcase the project’s achievements and reinforce collaboration among key actors who will come together from across Europe to exchange knowledge within the Quadruple Helix model: government, academia, industry, and citizens. It also seeks to gather technical insights from experts across EU regions to shape the upcoming testing and implementation phases of sustainable mobility solutions.

Who should join

The event refers to a wide range of stakeholders involved in urban mobility and transport planning, as well as sustainable urban planning. Expected participants are local and regional authorities, public transport agencies, service providers and operators, infrastructure managers, and representatives from universities and research centers. Associations, civil society organizations, non-governmental organizations and interested citizens are also encouraged to attend and contribute to the discussion on future mobility hub development.

What to gain

Attendees will benefit from practical tools and strategic steps for planning and implementing mobility hubs, along with tested methods for involving citizens in the decision-making process through the insights of GREENMO projects. In addition, participants will gain knowledge on solutions for daily transport challenges, making this a unique opportunity to connect, learn, and co-create efficient, inclusive, and integrated transport systems for greener living areas.

Part II – GREENMO Interregional Seminar for Capacity Building

Time: 14:00-18:00

A hands-on seminar for public and private policymakers and local stakeholders, looking for strengthening their capacity to design, implement, operate and monitor mobility hubs.

Objective

The GREENMO Interregional Seminar for Capacity Building aims to actively engage key stakeholders in shaping the success of mobility hubs. The goal is to provide practical solutions and promote a holistic approach to the planning and implementation of sustainable mobility hubs, tailored to local and regional contexts.

Who should join

This hands-on seminar is intended for a broad range of actors involved in mobility and transport planning, as well as sustainable urban planning and environment. Expected participants are local and regional authorities, public transport agencies, service providers and operators, infrastructure managers, as well as universities and research centers. It specifically targets public and private policymakers and local stakeholders looking to enhance their capacity in sustainable mobility development.

What to gain

Participants will act in interactive sessions designed to promote active learning and collaboration. They will gain more in-depth insights on the outcomes developed within the GREENMO project, while they will leave the venue with enhanced capacity on how to deal with the entire policy cycle of sustainable mobility and the integration of mobility hubs in this frame.
